About Gene Bush:
It was while purchasing his own Hollywood Hills home that Gene Bush decided to enter the real estate market himself as a broker. That was 13 years ago, and in that time he has earned a reputation as one of the top producers in the industry, and the coveted designation of International President’s Elite, representing the top 2 percent of Coldwell Banker agents internationally. “I fell in love with the process,” Gene says of his own home-buying experience. “I had a great real estate agent, who was with me every step of the way. The positive experience I had was one that I wanted to create for other people when finding them the home of their dreams.”
Gene calls Coldwell Banker his home away from home, dividing his time between the Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills North offices. A former stockbroker, he says his time working on Wall Street sharpened his intuition in finding solid investments, and honed his skills at cultivating relationships with clients based on communication and trust.
“Communication is among the most important aspects of any client relationship I have,” says Gene, who holds a bachelor’s in economics from Syracuse University in his native New York. “I insist on honesty and candor, and my clients respect that, and feel at ease because of it. I learned early on that exaggerated advertising does not get deals done, but rather the reverse is true.”
A good communicator is as much a good listener as a good conversationalist. Gene listens to his clients when they tell him what they looking for in a new home, or what they would like to sell their existing property for. Passionate about his work, Gene takes the time to get to know his clients, and makes their home-buying or selling priorities his own. He designs a personal plan and works closely with them to set goals that will not only meet their expectations, but often exceed them.
